Fyne Times article - July 2008 issue.  Organisers of Gloucestershire Pride are decidedly upbeat about this year’s event on August 9, following the disaster of 2007 when a lot of the county was recovering from ‘the great flood’.

Gloucestershire Gay Pride Puts the “T” Back Into LGBT.  All too often the “T” in LGBT is forgotten these days – but not in Gloucestershire!  Two transgender people were among the three officers elected to the Gloucestershire Pride organising committee at a special general meeting last month. International Day Against Homophobia:  Gloucestershire Gays Go Back Into Closet.  A group of gay men and women in Gloucestershire will be going back into “the closet” in May to draw attention to the fact that there are still many countries in the world where gays are persecuted, and even executed.
