Two transgender people were among the three officers elected to the Gloucestershire Pride organising committee at a special general meeting last month. (May 2008) International Day Against Homophobia: Gloucestershire Gays Go Back Into Closet. A group of gay men and women in Gloucestershire will be going back into “the closet” in May to draw attention to the fact that there are still many countries in the world where gays are persecuted, and even executed.
